Integrating Video and Text in an OCX-Based Voice- Over Internet Protocol (VOIP)System

Abstract / Excerpt:

Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP, pronounced voyp) has become a very feasible and cost-effective means of communication. Instead of using Plain Old Telephone Systems (POTS), VoIP extends the use of any networked environment and paves the way of effective communication.

VoIP is more than just the voice the internet or the voice over a network. It can also be extended to merge data applications (video, voice and text) in ways that continue to elevate the ease of communication.
