Abstract / Excerpt:
A large portion of peoples lives are spent at work. To function effectively, workers need to be fulfilled and satisfied with their job.
The Ateneo de Davao University has implemented the new compensation scheme for faculty members and this has definitely motivated the people to deliver much better performance. However, a better compensation scheme addresses the physiological needs, not necessarily addressing the other needs like social needs, self-esteem needs and self-actualization need.
